Job Overview:

The School Lead for Bayaan Academy will play a critical role in supporting the principal in the overall administration, leadership, and management of the online school. This position involves overseeing academic programs, student support services, and daily operations to ensure a positive and effective online learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

    • Collaborate with the principal in developing and implementing a vision for academic excellence in the online school.
    • Support teachers in the design, implementation, and evaluation of online instructional programs.

Teacher Supervision and Evaluation:

    • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and supervising a team of teachers.
    • Conduct regular teacher evaluations and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.

Student Support Services:

    • Oversee student support services, including counseling and academic intervention programs.
    • Collaborate with staff to address the unique needs of online students and ensure their academic success.

Discipline and Behavior Management:

    • Implement and enforce school policies related to student behavior and discipline in the online environment.
    • Work with teachers and staff to address and resolve behavioral issues.

Professional Development:

    • Coordinate and facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers and staff in collaboration with the principal.
    • Stay informed about best practices in online education and provide guidance on effective teaching strategies.

Parent and Community Engagement:

    • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, school events, and important information.
    • Represent the online school in the community and engage in outreach activities.

Crisis Management:

    • Work with the principal to develop and implement crisis management and emergency response plans for the online learning environment.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to address technical issues affecting online operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse group of teachers
  • Three years teaching experience and a strong understanding of online education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of educational technology, online learning platforms, and emerging trends in education.
