Job  Overview:

The Bayaan Academy Teacher will be responsible for delivering quality instruction to students in a virtual learning environment. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive online classroom culture, assessing student progress, and focusing on student tarbiyah and akhlaq in and outside the classroom. 


Curriculum Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive, standards-based lesson plans for students in various subjects.
    • Adapt curriculum materials for online delivery, incorporating multimedia, interactive elements, and real-world applications.

Instructional Delivery:

    • Conduct live online classes using video conferencing and other virtual platforms.
    • Utilize effective online teaching strategies to engage students and promote a collaborative learning environment.

Student Assessment:

    • Design and administer assessments to measure student understanding and progress.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments, assessments, and participation.

Individualized Support:

    • Offer virtual office hours for individualized support and assistance to students who may need additional help.
    • Collaborate with parents and guardians to address student concerns and provide updates on academic performance.

Classroom Management:

    • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive online classroom environment.
    • Implement and enforce classroom rules and expectations for online behavior.

Technology Integration:

    • Utilize educational technology tools and platforms to enhance the online learning experience.
    • Provide guidance to students on the effective use of online resources and tools.

Professional Development:

    • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in online education and subject-specific pedagogy.
    • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to share resources and strategies.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Two years previous teaching experience, preferably in a virtual setting.
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter and a deep understanding of curriculum.
  • Teaching certification preferred
  • Proficient in using online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational technology.
