Curriculum Details | Three Levels

Focus: Introduction to basic beliefs and essential practices.

Learning Methods: Interactive and engaging instruction, repetition, storytelling and visual aids.

Topics Covered:

  • Aqeedah (Belief): Basic understanding of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), names of Allah, and the pillars of Imaan & Islam. 
  • Fiqh (Practices): Learning how to perform Wudu and Salah, the importance of Taharah, and understanding the Five Pillars of Islam.
  • Seerah (Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ): Simple stories about the Prophet’s childhood, prophethood, and key events.
  • Tareekh (History): Introduction to the concept of Prophethood and learning about Prophets Adam AS and Nuh AS.
  • Qur’an & Hadith: Learning about the Quran, explanation of short Surahs (e.g., Surah Al-Fatiha, Surah Al-Ikhlas), and basic Hadiths on manners and kindness.
  • Adaab & Akhlaaq (Islamic Manners & Ethics): Learning about honesty, truthfulness, respect for parents, and saying basic greetings like “Assalamu Alaikum”.

Focus: Understanding the reasoning behind Islamic teachings and applying them in daily life.

Learning Methods:  Group discussions, storytelling with moral lessons, and practical applications.

Topics Covered:

  • Aqeedah (Beliefs): Understanding the Six Articles of Faith in more detail, Asma’ul Husna, learning about the role of angels and the Day of Judgment.
  • Fiqh (Practices):  Learning how to perform Salah correctly, the importance of fasting, basic rules of Halal and Haram, and introduction to Zakat.
  • Seerah (Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ): Studying key events in the life of the Prophet ﷺ, such as receiving of Wahi, Migration to Abyssinia, the Hijrah, battles and early Muslim community challenges.
  • Tareekh (Islamic History): Learning about Prophets Adam AS, Hawa AS, Idris AS and Isa AS.
  • Qur’an & Hadith:  Tafsir of basic Surahs, understanding selected Hadiths, and applying them in real life.
  • Islamic Morals & Society: Importance of honesty, patience, gratitude, and responsibility in light of Islamic teachings.

Focus: Critical thinking, deeper analysis of Islamic laws, history, and scholarly perspectives.

Learning Methods: Comparative analysis, debates, and research projects.

Topics Covered:

  • Aqeedah (Belief): Deeper understanding of Allah’s attributes, Islamic sources of Knowledge, beliefs of Prophethood, Qadar (divine decree), Awliya and Mujizaat.
  • Fiqh (Practices):  Learning about the principles of Usul al-Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence).
  • Seerah: Exploring detailed aspects of the Prophet’s leadership and learning about the women in the life of Prophet Muhammadﷺ  (Mothers of the Believers).
  • Tareekh (Islamic History): Interactions with other faiths, the Crusades, historical lessons from the Caliphate periods.
  • Qur’an & Hadith:  Studying deeper Tafsir of the Qur’an and deriving the lessons from the stories of Anbiya AS and discussing the difference between Iman, Islam and Ihsan.
  • Islamic Ethics & Contemporary Issues: Discussing ethical dilemmas, modern-day challenges for young Muslims, and applying Islamic principles to topics like social interactions, social media and technology.
