It’s summer again and while it’s your chance to relax, unwind and rejuvenate, we want to give you this opportunity to enjoy and focus on your topic of interest, at your own comfortable pace.

Be it pursuit of mastery in your favorite subject, gearing up for college for the far-sighted or building up on 21st-century skills for the passionate learner, we are offering a wide range of courses to choose from.

Technology Courses

In these self-paced project-based courses students take on the role of creator. In addition to technical skills, students develop the creative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills necessary to build amazing projects from start to finish. Throughout each of these courses, students work with industry-standard tools used by professionals. If they need any help along the way with their coursework or projects, students can reach out to experts 5 days a week for support by e-mail, chat, or phone.

By the end of a technology course, students will have built an original, professional-grade project and developed the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become creators on their own, in further study, or professionally.

SAT Prep Course

This course is self-paced program built specifically for the Redesigned SAT (2016) with consideration of SAT’s test specifications to provide students a more successful and less stressful preparation effort for key areas of the SAT exam.

SAT Math, Writing and Language, and Reading offer targeted instruction, practice, and review. Students engage with the content in an interactive, feedback-rich environment as they progress through SAT test aligned modules.  Students practice skills essential to the test they’re preparing for and build the depth of knowledge, confidence, and higher order skills required to demonstrate mastery when put to the test.

In each module, the learning and practice make complex ideas accessible to students through focused content, guided analysis, and practice with personalized feedback so students are empowered to increase their Exam Readiness. The review offers an engaging and high impact video summary of key concepts and important to grasp connections. The testing assesses students’ mastery of the module’s concepts, providing granular performance data to students and teachers, linking a student’s performance to SAT content dimension descriptions. To help students focus on the content most relevant to them, unit-level pretests and posttests can quickly identify where students are ready for test day and where they still need to review and practice.

This Tutorial is aligned with Redesigned SAT test specifications for Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing tests.

Academic Credit Courses (Self-Paced)

Our self-paced classes provide a personalized learning path for each student. Unit-level pretests prescribe a plan of instruction to meet students’ individual learning needs, and students struggling with grade-level concepts are prescribed remedial instruction of skills down to the third-grade level. The learning path continually adapts as the student progresses through each module.

Embedded pretest and posttest assessments provide performance data by module, unit, or standard, quickly identifying where students have demonstrated content mastery and where they still need to focus their learning.
