It promotes solidarity and community in the Ummah and brings about growth and abundance. It is also an important aspect of financial planning, a yearly donation that must be calculated and given out based on personal finances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Our 7th-grade students worked on projects demonstrating how to calculate the Zakah a person owes each year to deepen their understanding of the process. This comes as part of Bayaan Academy&#8217;s Project-Based Learning assessment approach that encourages students to explore the subjects they study beyond the classroom.
