In Quarter 1 of 2024, our students participated in a project-based learning experience. They brought history to life by creating a Colonial Newspaper that portrayed life in one of the 13 original colonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative challenged them to explore historical events, discover stories of marginalized voices, and work together to craft a representation of the era\u2019s complexities. Through research, creativity, and teamwork, they produced thoughtful and engaging work that reflects both their knowledge and their unique perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we are proud to showcase three standout submissions from our Social Studies 9th graders, highlighting the exceptional effort and dedication they poured into this meaningful exploration of our shared past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through these standout projects, our 9th graders have demonstrated their ability to connect with history in meaningful and creative ways. By exploring the triumphs, struggles, and lives of those in the 13 original colonies, they have taken a look into the past while reflecting on its connection with the present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
